artstream: Sounds from Near and Far - Call for submissions In April 2002, New Media Scotland will present Sounds from Near and Far, Internet audio artstreams connecting Sofia, Edinburgh and Liverpool. Presented as part of the Microfestival of Digital Culture, a collaborative project with the Red House for Culture & Debate, Sofia, Bulgaria.
Call for sound works from artists from the UK, Bulgaria and across the globe on the theme of the translocal: travel, crossing borders, migration, sounds of different cultures and environments. Submissions may be one or more works of any duration. Formats preferred: audio CD, MiniDisc, and mp3 on CD. Internet streaming will take place throughout the Microfestival.
