I know that i'm going to have to type it all up, but can i get around doing all the individual address book entries. yours in search of this and other headache remedies< Outlook Express v5: File->Import->Other Address Book allows you to import a text file of comma separated values (you can create such a file in notepad or any other plain text editor), in order to see the format the names and addresses need to be in choose File->Export->Address Book->Text File to export your current address book as a text file and see the format of the entries This is your quickest way as you can just create the address book in notepad without using outlook express at all then just import it. I assume your hard copy is handwritten otherwise you can just scan it with good OCR software and get the whole job done in a morning saving the afternoon for a nap and a cold brew ;) cheers, Sol.
