Yes!  I go back a ways with the Goons.  St. Martin's Press (my graceless
employers) were the first to publish the Goon Show scripts here (they were a
part of McMillan back then and still are somehow, but I;m not sure how).

A New York station used to play the shows late on Sunday nights back in the
1970s and I became instantly addicted.  The first time I set foot in London
I spent all my money on Penguin paperbacks of Spike Milligan books.  Got a
whole bunch of audio tapes too.
