this is a new GPL'ed freeware audio editor..pretty nice and will appeal to all those inclined to edit audio......it's truly cross-platform, available for windoze,mac and linux/unix...........I've just downloaded it and been checking it out and it's really impressive, some nice features too in terms of spectral analysis and built in encoding to mp3 or ogg vorbis via the lame dll (also a free download). anyway, check it out, as someone who normally uses soundforge as his audio editor I find this really impressive, esp. since it's free. cheers, Sol.
