Why I gotta be so serious. No celebrities. Except for one Janeane Garofalo quote.
Speaking of Janeane, this month's Advocate (with Dennis Quaid on the cover) pulled a quote from my interview with Ms.Garofalo that was published on MoviePoopShoot.com and they didn't mention my name. It was good promo for the site, but it's not the site that needs attention. I'm the one with the lack of income. Everybody up to and including CNN has yobbed on about MPS. Kevin Smith this, Ben Affleck that, Jennifer Lopez got a big fat ring, y'all! Yeah, a big fat ring that cost more than I made the last 5 years put together. So give me a little byline, y0. "I've never understood ... why people are so adamant about proving their heterosexuality as if it's creepy to be gay" was the quote The Advocate pulled. I talked to Dennis Quiad about Far From Heaven, along with Julianne Moore. Quaid is seriously all man. Did you know he was married to Meg Ryan? I guess I was the only one who didn't. So this weeks LA Life is a departure because 1) these are serious times and 2) I moved back to San Francisco. There's political commentary, social commentary and absolutely no frivolous artistry. So listen up - this shit's for real.
