The book, "Ray Johnson: How Sad I am Today" is quite nice.
Don't be bugged by him (unless this is *your* obsession -
ha!)...I think the hot and cold of it is: many people
(artists and other-wise [ones]) need some type of
springboard that propels them into the swimminghole of
life. That springboard of many sizes and painted many
colors provides a basis of living. If given a little extra
pull of the mind, most of us would probably be able to
pick out some of these (or ONE) little human-system
routine that provides extreme joy or inspiration for daily
living and/or creating. Not everyone feels compelled to
tell others what these are, because of so many reasons,
but probably...simply...because they are the most
difficult to explain in easy terms ("easy terms" referring
obliquely to presenting ideas in a bit-size chunk for
others who don't understand) and sometimes the results of
informing aren't worth the candle.
Instead of bugging me, these two guys have always "awed"
me!
