Last week we were having dinner with some friends visiting us from Holland

when we suddenly realised that, sitting at the next table, was Paul McCartney

My plan was to accidently meet him in the Gent's Urinal

Hmmm

Not for anything, you know, weird

But

Years and years ago a friend of mine

was having a pee in the urinals at Rochester Cathedral

when who should walk in but John Lennon

who was attending a Carol Service there

(Carols for peace or something)

and stood next to him

My friend said, Hello

John replied, Hello

and that was that

So I thought it would be a nice little event to meet

Macca under similar circumstances

Alas

It didn't happen
