H, dear Bertrand, >Well, I had some very inocent emails that never arrived on the list (maybe >were they too innocent?) > Mine were also innocent emils. Well, maybe the suggestion of using the internet as medium for electric ostracism seems to be dangerous for owners.
>How are you since Genova? We had great time there didn't we? > Yes, we had, thanx also for you. The intermedia-piece I enjoyed the best in Genova was: Francesco Conz: Title: Hoteleni for 3 Duration: 24 minutes. Performer I. enters hotel-room, lies down and sleeps in between performer II. and III. (Mr. Conz was performer I. During the action the owner of the hotel wanted to call the police, but when Eleni (performer II.) and I (performer III.) explained to her that this action is art, namely non-art-art, more specifically: Fluxus, she sat down, and clapped at the end.) Since Genova many things happened. Some of them: IPUT published the NETRAF-Emils, a long collection of emils about the opening of the Neo-Socialist-Realist International Parallel Union of Telecommunications Counter-Art-History-Falsifiers Front. IPUT smuggled succesfully the NETRAF-pirat-video to a program of a tv-chanel here. The IPUT-expedition went to Iran (the ancient Medea, Med Imperium, Middle Imperium) to look for proofs of the origine of the word: medium, and we found proving documents and objects as well. (The meaning of intermedia in ancient Persian and even Sanskrit: anthar madia. MD - in both languages -: middle.) IPUT founded the Intermedia Creche in it's new four-story house, we'll move there from the University in the next January, we had the techne-inspection of the building just yesterday, fortunately nothing functions, even the doors are not closing, so the poiesis-fluctuation is assured. IPUT presented the St.rike Robot in Rotterdam at Tent, the Reincarnation of the Lilac Ganges-Baby-Boy at Factor44 in Antwerp, and the Subvironment - hommage a J. Baudrillard - (secretly rearranging the things in an appartment in Amsterdam to reconstruct the merriage of a divorcing couple). The IPUT-delegation visited the exposition of Pierre-Andre Ferrand at the Karmelitanski Instytut Duchowosci (Carmelit Institute of the Spirit) in Krakow, Poland, and reformulated the sentence: "There is never a question of what to paint, but only _how_ to paint." (Robert Ryman) into this: "There is never a question of how to paint, but only how _not_ to paint.", and decorated Mr. Ferrand with the Cooling Water-Order. IPUT sculpted a double-portrait (hommage a Miklos Erdely and Dieter Rot). made of chewing gum (887 gums) chewed by the students of the Intermedia Creche. IPUT participated in several shows with older things (seems very new, like the foto by Berta Pappenheim about the upside-down hanged up African Women in Kandinsky's studio) and newer things (seem very old from the time of Napoleon in Ukraina, or Cezanne in Afghanistan) here and there. IPUT gave about 80 lectures concerning the Immortality of the Body and the Classification of Aims in the Age of S.M.I2.L.E. IPUT published an audio-cd last week: NEWNEEFLUGREEZ HYMNS (Neutral Weaponfree Near East European Fluxus Green Zone: 18 countries from Finland down to Crete and Cyprus). Etc. And all the fuss with the St-rike! See you soon, dear Bertrand! H, a
