I agree very much about what your idea of what an artist is but I dont get who you are replying to. Also how do you judge who is a twit and who isnt? Actually I guess the audience judges but no one really listens to the audience thats why there are art critics and censors. Art sucks when you start talking about the public part because it is so nebulous. If something is too accepted then it becomes mainstream and then commercial- if it is not accepted then no one sees it
