I've always been attracted to the darker side of Fluxus history, the expulsions, arguments, excommunications, the protest of Stockhausen by Henry Flynt and Tony Conrad (and Conrad's more recent protest of a LaMonte Young concert). If art is beautiful, must anti-art be ugly?
