Experimentation with materials,tools and the ideas of others has become part of the common art practice. Fluxus is rooted in the experiment much like all creative acts. Testing a theory or creating an experimentatl situation makes that which is new, dicernable or not but new. It is our tendancy to rehash the same ideas for fear of the unknown. We fear what we do not understand. Fantastic ideas come and go but what if we actually did those things we dream up. What if we shared those ideas and commited to the fruition of those ideas. Would that be the Ideas that are founded in the roots of Fluxus.
