Subject: New Year Event
This is an invitation to take part in the 2002-2003 performance of In One Year and Out the Other.
This event began on New Year's Eve of 1975-1976 with a series of telephone calls from Springfield, Ohio. I called forward from 1975 to Dick Higgins, Christo, and Nam June Paik in New York, then back from 1976 to Tom Garver and Natasha Nicholson in California. Since then, friends and colleagues have joined me in performing the event every New Year. More friends join us each year.
In the 1990s, we began using telefax and email along with telephone.
