Hmm... How about when you have to work in a factory so that you can carry on making art? To me, that's often been the big problem: I wished I could be happy not doing art and just work in a factory, which, by the way, was often nicer and better paid than a lot of office or bar work I've done. Yet, I couldn't. So I ended up unhappy either way...
