I've kind of already started this... I got a few "used" decks from a casino, so they
already have a bit of
history to them. (Being handled by who-knows-how-many anonymous persons for one
night.)
The idea is to maintain the identity of the card ("three of clubs" or what have you),
so at least some
games can still be played with them. What games, I don't exactly know, since if both
sides of the card
are affected, one could easily memorize the deck... but I hesitate to limit the
maniplation to the face
only... at any rate, it'll be a lovely deck of cards that's still theoretically
playable.
Once it's completed, we could send it to each person who contributed... they'd have it
and would
game with it for one week, then mail it to the next person down the list... 52 cards,
52
contributors/players, 52 weeks: One year of the deck being in play.
