Hi Georg, At least it should work on a mac when you record it from the sound output plug with a tape machine, minidisc etc. (yes I know not very elegant...) There are programs that can grab and record anything that goes over the soundcard. (for instance internet streams etc.) This could maybe work with text-to-speech too. You have to look at www.versiontracker.com for it. I have not tested any of them... All the best Gabriel
