i had a discussion with henry flynt about this, (i say discussion, he lectured me) shortly after 11th sept 2001, he knows quite a bit and, at the time, was dedicating a lot of time to the subject.. apparently memebers of the bin laden family had residences in manhattan. the interesting thing to know is whether the bin laden were fully aware of osama's shenanigans. i imagine that it would be hard for them to not be, even way before the WTC.
