No, most of them were pushed out when the buildings started to change hands in the 80's. I've heard horror stories of entire families, who'd been in the area since the 70's, being dispossesed due to all sorts of real estate shenanigans. The only ones who remain are those who were able to buy entire buildings outright very early on.
