Where do we send the recording to? Can we sing along with the recording? Or add handclaps?
There are two notable precursors I can think of at the moment: In 1990 or so, the rock band The Flaming Lips did a cover of the Byrds' song "Feel a Whole Better" by singing (screaming?) and playing very bad noise guitar over the Byrds' version of the song.
