We take that total number of people, say 35, look at what object they want to contribute, find a container that will hold al 35 objects from the 35 people, in this case a cigar box. We get the 50 items and 7$ and a cigar box from each person. We assemble 50 boxes. That leaves us 15 extra to give to museums or other donations. Every one of the 35 Fluxlisters get a box with an item from all the other Fluxlisters.
