deer awl Is anyone going to be in Nice for the Fluxus Festival? I'm going to try and be there, although it looks doubtful as it would mean missing the second day of the new school year - not good, especially when you're the teacher!
Nevertheless, does anyone know of cheap accomodation there, etc? I have something, somewhere in the show (apparently, according to Emily Harvey anyway). So if you're there have a look out, see just what I get away with! That piece is in Ben's collection so I don't know if or where it'll be shown - so probably be better not to waste your time looking after all. Hoping to send a new music score for performance there, but I've just got back from the mountains, where we set up a little recording studio. Spent the last week having no particular idea of what time/day it was, apart from when the birds begin to chirp it's probably time for bed. So I'm a little bit disorientated and more confusederer than normal. If I ever get the mixes right, I may make some CDs available to those daft enought to want to hear our alchodelic country chaos blues. Pls bear in mind that we are only in 2, I'm a rubbish guitarist and Diego is Italian but sings in English and has trouble with words like "precipice" and "theologian" (Yes there are a couple of REM covers in there as well!) So if you want to hear my solo and singularly shambolic rendition of "I am the Walrus" watch this space. Unfortunately "I Can't Understand Why My Mother Wasn't Happy With Me Joining a Devil Sect" was deleted in error. Fortunatley, this error has left space on the minidisc for a new rendition of "Sorry Darling that I Shot Your Pony, But a Crossbow's just Too Much Fun", which if all goes well will be recorded next weekend when I escape once again the hassle and stress of doing nothing in the city for the peace and tranquility of doing nothing in the mountains.
