also reminds me of a  piece  a friend did where he took a live mouse, put it into a pickle jar and then filled the jar with rubbing alcohol.  took about 5 minutes for the mouse to die.  then, for Christmas, he made a few (i belive two) candles with the mouse inside.    No, the wick wasn't the tail.
