THE ONE NIGHT’ OF AUDIO, VIDEO AND LIVE ART 25TH
JUNE 2004 � Umbrella presents ‘The One Night’ an event
which invites artists working in
Audio, Video & Live art mediums to submit for this showing. The focus of
‘The One Night’ is to uncover unique artworks that push the
boundaries of
contemporary art practise and celebrate the diversity of experimental live
art, video and audio art being produced today. � The Venue � ‘The Canton Labour Club’ is the ideal
setting for this dynamic evening of Audio, Video & Live art. This alternative venue boasts "the largest projection
screen of its kind in will
rotate various large-screen video projections and combination performative
artworks and special events. � Submissions � Please send: * AUDIO: in the following formats CD (PC Compatible
Only) WAV or MP3 no � more than 15 mins long. * VIDEO: in the following formats: CD (PC Compatible
Only), Mini DV, or Hi � 8, no more than 15 mins long. * PERFORMANCE a written statement no more than two
sides of A4 and a visual � description of the artwork i.e. slides, photographs,
drawings etc. � Performance
artworks are welcome from South West England and � only. * A fee of �3 as Cheque/ Postal order (please do not
send cash) made � payable to ‘Umbrella’ to cover administration
costs. * A stamped self addressed (SAE) Envelope for return
