Madawg, You're using Thunderbird in Mac OS X. Go to Menu Bar > Mozilla Thunderbird > Preferences...
Click on Composition on the left, then Configure Text format behavior, Send Options... button. Click on Plain Text Domains tab and then "Add..." button. I'm not sure about the next part, but type in "scribble.com" (no quotes) in the next box. Say OK and OK and OK.

I couldnt figure out how to stop my emails coming in html (if that is what they are doing) and I called aol and apple and they couldnt figure it out either. So the only person it appears to bother is Secretfluxus. Unless someone on the list can help I am going to be doing what I do-which is this-maybe I should do it backwards to be more impressive..
