Dear Friends and Fellow Workers:
I have been off and mostly on the fluxlist for almost seven years now.
I thought Roger Stevens gave an excellent sense of much that has transpired and wil continue to transpire in the ongoing flux--
For myself--and for all of you!--fluxlist is much what i also feel and think with Mail Art and Visual/Sound/event Score/Poetries--
Community/communication
to ba aprt of, not apart from--
best of all are the numerous projects--not just talking and wiritng and having fun but also making--
as a community/communication in which all the varyious voices/notations/makings particpate--
and share--
al the books, web istes, events, musics, cds, boxes and so forth--that have been brought out of the fluxlist are documents and testaments to this spirit--
no offence to secretfluxus, but have always wondered what secret fluxus is--as at times one wonders--is at a single person or a small cadre as is sometimes hinted at?
yet it seems odd to critique from a digest rather than from a place of direct participation--
a watchdog operation? covert directives?--one can't help but play and wonder--
is secret fluxus a sort of research group on fluxus, its history and manifestations in the present?
and what does secret fluxus do in this reagrd?
again, no offense meant, but one does wonder--
