AND so many thanks to all who've responded at length and with heart / thoughtfulness on all "sides" of the mighty dilemma of fluxlist and how we're each trying to GET AT ideas and art and our own efforts/wants/needs ways of trying to SEE/and ACT differently
i'm (obviously) in the 'let it be' realm of the list i like the daily DAYNESS alertness-to-nowness that has evolved here (feel wanting to mention princess petal here and don't really know how, but she mattered so much to lots of us)
and honor the history of history ( as my 12 yr old/then son said, looking at my high school year book: i really like HISTORY)
i guess i just want it ALL in the varying forms of this realm of balking at art world rules, yet knowing there are links (in no way predictable!) that we would have aplenty if we could have more irreverence of (art as) commodity and/or making a living (big issue, that) and could let go to PLAY some joy of art in the very making of art in getting lost ?? as if in conversation?
which leads me back to such appreciation of ones on list speaking of fluxus/art/all-these-attempts as a conversation sometimes: yeah! spark! here-we-go!!!! sometimes ...... (notes like this....!).
i want ALL the thoughts of many and of every and am grateful to the elasticity of this list because i do think it is an allowance that is not found in too many other places
and i'd have to say that's how i "define" fluxus who/how/what mood/under what influence are YOU in just this moment? can it be formed into something of value to any others? share a way of paying attention ("this is my life: i pay attention") to THIS? (or that scrap of paper under your foot, how whatever you were drinking just spilled in such a fascinating way onto the slip of paper with essential information written in b-l-u-rrrrrrrrrr-i-n-g ink at side of keyboard)
