---No but I remember Captain Video, an old Republic
serial we used to watch avidly at Saturday Matinees in
my youth. He used to wear his underpants outside his
tights like a lot of those super heroes tend to do.
WHy do they do that?
Like most of those great old creaky republic serials
they had no money for props or special effects and so
most of the gadgets and spaceships etc. were made of
that fluff that accumulates under the bed, spit, and
cereal packets etc.
