Georg, Alan's suggestion to take the story offlist and brian's motivation to
add sound mixed with my ere long like of wiki and I moved the story somewhat
belatedly -- neat to have seen the development, though perhaps it's still an
intimidating or unfamiliar interface -- to a wiki. Please visit at http://

It's quite simple to add to the wiki. If you see a question mark after a
WikiWord, you can click on it and put whatever you want in the edit box you
then get. Or you can turn any word into a link by surrounding it with curly
brackets, like so {{free link}}.
To attach image or sound files, click on "Attach" at the bottom of the page
where you want it to go and follow the instructions for uploading. Then Edit
the page. Typing in "Attach:filename.ext" will either give you an inline image
or a link to a sound file which apparently needs to be on its own page.
