Sometimes one just has to admit one was wrong. That's all. Well, not wrong exactly. But just missing the obvious.
Like - we have severe gales in Britain right now - well, it is June after all. And this morning I went into the back garden to check that the pond hadn't flooded again. And completely missed the fact that the plum tree had been ripped down by the wind. Shame.
