To follow are the details regarding Carlo's Memorial Service.  Please send

Date:                Saturday, 10 September, 2005

Place:               Bowdoinham Town Hall

Time:                3 P. M.

Master of Ceremony:  Mark Melnicove

Pot Luck to Follow at the Town Hall.

Procession:  A pedestrian procession of  musicians, artists, fans and
admirers of Carlo Pittore will leave from 216 Post Road.  If you would like
to participate come to Carlo's House by 1:30.(directions follow)  The
Procession will begin at 2 PM.  The distance to the Hall is about a mile.
There will be parking in a field on the right just before you get to Carlo's
house.  Look for parking signs and friendly helpful people.  Please park
your car before joining other participants.  Bring your pot luck item to the
house.  They will be brought down to the hall after the memorial service.

If you do not want to participate in the procession travel directly to the
Bowdoinham Town Hall. (directions follow). The service will begin at 3 P. M.


D I R E C T I O N S  To Carlo's House for the Procession:  216 Post Road
POINTS SOUTH OF BOWDOINHAM FROM ROUTE 95:

   Take 95 North to Exit 42

   Follow 295 North to Exit 37 to Bowdoinham.
   (Exit 37 is the next exit after Topsham/Lewiston/Lisbon exit)

   Turn right off exit 37 onto route 125/138 North.

   Go a half mile to Crossroad.  Turn Left on route 138 North-the Post Road
   (Just before the turn there is a very big purple building with a very
    big banana on the side)


   Parking is about one mile on the right.

   Carlo's house is a little bit further on the left.  People will be
   gathering outside.


FROM BANGOR:  To Carlo's for the Procession

   Take 95 South toward Augusta

   5-6 Miles beyond August. the Maine Turnpike/Route 95 becomes route 495

       I M P O R T A N T:  YOU DO NOT WANT TO FOLLOW 495
                           FOLLOW 95 TO BOWDOINHAM

   To Follow Route 95 bear right and look for EXIT 103 Gardiner/Brunswick

   Follow Signs for 95 South

   Travel on 95 to Exit 37 Bowdoin/Bowdoinham.

   Turn Left onto 125/138 North.

   Go a half mile to crossroad.  Turn left on route 138 North-Post Road.

   Parking will be one mile on the right.  Carlo's house just past on the
   left.





D I R E C T I O N S  To the town hall for the Memorial Service at 3 PM

FROM Points south via Route 95

   Take 95 North to Exit 42

   Follow 295 North to Exit 37 Bowdoinham/ Bowdoin

   Turn right off Exit 37 onto Route 125/138 North

   In one half mile 125 and 138 split.  Continue on 125 North to School
   Street.

   Turn Right on School Street (there is a white church with a bell tower
   on the corner)

   The Town hall is on the right just after you turn.

   Look for friendly, helpful people to direct you.


FROM Bangor:

   Take 95 South toward Augusta

   5 -6 miles beyond Augusta the Maine Turnpike Route 95 becomes 495

   I M P O R T A N T:  Follow 95.  You must use EXIT 103.  this exit
   comes by very quickly.  Look for signs Exit 103 West Gardiner/Brunswick

   At the Gardiner Exit follow signs to Route 95 south.

   Take 95 South to Exit 37.

   Turn Left onto Route 125/138 North.

   In one half mile 125 and 138 split.  Continue with route 125 North.
   After a half mile look for School Street on the right.  There is a white
   church with a bell tower at the intersection.

   The Town Hall is on School Street right after the turn.  Look for more
   friendly, helpful people to direct you.
