I made a recording of the performance when he was here in my area,
but I haven't had a chance yet to go back and extract it from my
digital audio recorder.
Herb Levy was nice enough to invite me along to an after-concert
dinner that included Jaap.
I noticed then that he's quite different - shy and quiet - when he's
not performing on stage.
