Don, I think that you mean "Alan" as in Alan Bowman, and not "Allan" (as in "me" -- Revich -- a Fluxlister but NOT a list administrator) or "Allen" (as in Bukoff -- who sadly has decided to leave the list).
Either way, your friend merely has to visit http://www.fluxlist.com/ >From there he can elect to browse the archives (link at lower left of the page) - or he/she can subscribe to Fluxlist by sending an e-mail to; [EMAIL PROTECTED] and writing the words "subscribe FLUXLIST" (but without the quotation marks in the message area.
