Thanks xoMelissa! I thought about giving my 3-6-9 Haikus a different name, but then thought that calling them Haiku would be; - still accurate in a quasi-spirit-of-real-haiku kind of way (still 3 lines, 18 syllables instead of 17, has haiku 'flow' [flux], Engrish instead of Japanese, Latin characters instead of kanji) - more confusing - more amusing
So the 3-6-9 is just my special brand of "ordinary" haiku! xAllaNo I look forward to seeing more of you Blues-kus soon...what with being a blues-man and all. I do like the name you came up with though - although if you've seen my picture they should probably be called no-hair-ku rather than haier-ku ;-) -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Melissa McCarthy Sent: Monday, May 29, 2006 6:25 PM To: [email protected] Subject: FLUXLIST: Renaming Haiku Allan, I love your 3-6-9 verses; I think you should call them Haier-ku.
