i'm using mac osx 10.5.8, i did manage to get the start audio to
work, prior to reading this email. but still have a few questions. the commands that you mentioned should i just enter them in the
terminal? so would i enter ./jackd or just jackd?
as i see you are using the binary dmg version.
- make an aggregate device in audio midi setup, otherwise jack
does not work.
- use the aggregate device for input and output. it is described in the jackpilot manual - when you start jackpilot use a bigger buffer size than the default, like 1024
- then use (start-audio "system:capture_1" 1024 44100) in fluxus

i also noticed that when i was running jack and reading the ports in
fluxus somehow my audio was really quiet, the cube i rendered was
responding to the sound but i couldn't hear the sound through my
speakers very well.

i took a screenshot of the fluxus script running and all the settings
in jack and midi. could you maybe take a look at it and tell me what
i'm doing wrong, or is the low audio supposed to happen?
it's not supposed to happen, i think something is wrong with your setup.

and although i haven't tried this yet, is the procedure for taking
audio from the audio in jack of my mac the same ?

thanks
