You can also use the (process "soundfile") function.
I find that it runs pretty well, actually, and gives you a very
accurate way of playing back audio. Of course, you can't use mp3s for
it, but that's not hard to convert...
I am in the process of doing an example of using it for a music video,
will post something soon.

Subject: Re: [Fluxus] Jack OSX 0.85 and Fluxus on 10.6
Hi List,
I guess using 64 bits version of Jack OSX makes Fluxus crash, and 32
bits
version can't set itself to mac's default sound device on 10.6 as
seen here:
http://www.jackosx.com/which_version.html
Well, anybody have a workaround ?
Thanks !

I'm really regretting being on 10.6. 64-bit is a great idea, and
all this
new multi-threading is great too, but all my software development
projects
are now broken, and macports is giving me hell. Just thought I'd
rant :)
I'll try this tomorrow and see if I can't get it to work.
Just to be sure, should we be installing the macports version of
jack? I
used to have both installed, which was confusing.

Hi guys,
just to be sure, does JackPilot 0.85 (32 bits) manage to see
iTunes on
10.6 ? Fluxus works anyway. I tried using the 64 bits version of
Jack OSX
0.85, it can see iTunes but connecting with Fluxus makes it crash.
To Adrien Rocher, i'm french too, we made last year a rough
translation
of the manual with friends, it is in git, i think we can get along
to keep
it updated as I do it on my free time. Translating the in-app help
(why not
translating the whole function refs :D)
