I've been searching the list and web and found that there is no fluxa
app binary in the distribution for osx. Is this correct?
yes, it's correct. i compiled the app binary, but there were some
problems with it, so it needs some more work to be usable.
Do you recommend compiling the whole fluxus or
only the fluxa (if this is possible).
compile the whole fluxus as an ordinary binary (not an app). in that
case fluxa works, but you will need the fluxus binary you compiled. it
won't work with the app version.
