which version are you using? if you installed 0.17 from the pawfal site,
it requires the 32-bit version of jack 0.85 as Michael already replied.
otherwise you can try installing a newer version like this:
http://mndl.hu/fluxus/fluxus-0.18-1.20110620git.dmg
which should work with any jack version if it supports 32-bit connections.
the problem relies in the solution that older fluxus osx versions came
with jack packaged inside them. in this case users don't have to install
jack, fluxus runs instantly. but if you need jack, you need the exact same
version that fluxus was compiled with. newer versions don't have jack
packaged, but they crash if jack is not installed, since the app cannot
load the framework.
