They're talking about the big Elks sign that used to hang outside. It
was broken into several large pieces during removal. The long term plan
is to restore and repair it.
I think by a "safe space" what was meant was safe from harm during the
event. The sign is in pieces and has been placed on a large piece of
glass which we don't want to get broken. There has been no discussion
of removing it from the Squirrel, in fact quite the contrary!

inventory of our sound equipment and we need a few items; (we have
temporary solution but still need something long term.) 2) I propose
that we advertise a volunteer day on Saturday and/or Sunday of this
week to clean up the Squirrel before the Brunch.
Volunteer Day
A couple of us were at the Squirrel this last weekend and we found
some things that should happen before the Brunch:
1.
The kitchen area needs to be cleaned, specifically the oven area,
so the new oven can be installed in a clean area.
2.
The space needs a general cleaning.
3.
The Elks Club sign needs a safe home before the Fundraiser. At the
meeting we discussed possibly displaying it or storing it in a
safe space. I will defer to Vanessa for what to do about the sign.
Would people be available on Saturday or Sunday? Are the best times
for all of us? After figuring that out, I can schedule an event and
ask others to join us.

Mixer and Amp are in working condition
1 long ¼” 2 channel cable
2 large speakers are in working condition
2 short ¼” cables (for mixer to amp connection)
1 Mic Stand
I am going to let the bands coming on Thursday and Friday know that
this is what we have for equipment. I want them to know so that they
bring their equipment if needed.
It would be nice to buy the items we need as a budget item or to call
for people to donate the needed sound equipment by the Brunch if
possible. What do people think?
