We had a very productive meeting!

The stove has been moved into its alcove under the hood woot woot!
Gas line may need to be shortened depending on where stove is eventually
positioned
Are we going to put a normal sized fridge back in the kitchen? (FNB says
that would be a big help)
if we do it might require a dedicated electrical outlet, Alex and
Ash will check building code
Estimate $300 for materials, plus labor for ceiling
Ceiling teardown and replacement can be completed in 1-2 days
plan is to use same materials as for ceiling in main room
panels would be removable permitting non-destructive access to
anything above ceiling
same materials as will be used in main room
we found some furring strips in the basement which can be used for
this project
tables and counters will need to be moved out
should wait until Christmas display is taken down, sometime in
mid-January
goal is to have ceiling done by end of January
Cost of floor replacement will need to wait until old floor at
least partially removed so we can see what there is to work with
We may need to get more metal counter tops and tables for kitchen to
comply with health codes
Need to discuss with our architect or health department
