Our new fan is up and running.  This should make things a lot more pleasant at shows especially for the performers because it's located in the existing duct right above the stage.

A couple things to keep in mind when running it however.

When the thermostat is activated it takes several seconds from the time the fan is powered on until it starts running.  A red light on the control box indicates it's got power.  Be patient.

It is surprisingly quiet even at full power but speed can be adjusted on the control box.  Make sure it is running fast enough to keep the outside shutters open.

Make sure the windows are open.  It moves a lot of air and needs to replace what it blows outside.  If it can't do that, it's just spinning in a vacuum and won't cool anything.

The electrical connection is just temporary because the control unit needs to be plugged directly into an outlet.  This is a design shortfall.  Plans are being made to install an outlet up under the fan.  Meanwhile make sure the power strip has a good connection to the wall outlet.
