I would like to make a suggestion I know it's borrowed from formal
meetings but I think it would benefit us. Start each meeting with a
reading of the notes from the previous meeting. Stuff is not getting
followed up on. We lost at least one show and possibly another because
of the calendar not being properly updated. This also cost an
opportunity to get more band members involved with the Squirrel. I would
be willing to print out the previous meeting's notes for this purpose.
Also we should resume the practice of sending out an email with relevant
event requests on the weeks when we don't meet. There was at least one
instance where someone made a request the day after a meeting, for a
date before the next meeting. It was never looked at until after the
event date.
