I've created a batch process. People place an AutoCAD 2004 file into
the \INPUTS directory and a scheduled task runs four times daily to
convert all the DWGs in that directory into Microstation V7 DGN
format. Everything works well except attributes (type =
autocad_attr_def) that appear as text in AutoCAD. Although I can see
them in AutoCAD, I cannot see them in FME Viewer and they are not
being converted into text or tags in Microstation. The log file says
that they are being read in the DWG file and written in the DGN file,
but I do not see them.
First, how can I see them in FME Viewer. If I had that I think I
could do the rest, but just in case, how do I make sure they show up
in Microstation. I have expand visible attributes into text entities
turned on.
