Hi all

I have been playing with some of the new raster formates (GeoTiff and ecw),
this add a hole new and interesting dimension to fme.

In this respect I have a wish for the ECW (and the JPEG200? ) writer. The
compression factor of a ecw picture is determining the quality of the
picture, could there be a writer keyword allowing you to set this, as it is
now it looks like it is hardcooded to some value.

As it is now there is a 500 mb limit to the ecw (and jpeg200) format, will
it be possible to license a unlimited version of the ecw writer - and do you
have an idear about the price?

In a geotiff image I can read the coordinates of the picture using the
@Tcl2() or @Coordinate() functions, but how can i get the x and y resolution
in pixels ?

Also in a Geotiff image how can i set / reset the geocoding of the picture,
it looks like an image in fme is an aggregate where the first part is some
coordinate information and the next part is the actual pixel values. but can
i change the first part without affecting the rest off the picture.

NB As I dont use the WorkeBench i dont need a transformer but some function
calls that illustrete the issues
