To create measures use the MeasureGenerator transformer which permits
both 2d and 3d measurements.

To use existing measures change the 'treat measures as elevation'
setting to yes and the measures will be read into the Z value (which you
can then extract with a CoordinateFetcher if you need)

Hope this helps,

Subject: [fme] extract measured values from polyline m

Hi everyone,

I need to extract the measured values at various points along a polyline
m (such as the point at which the line intersects an area boundary).

The measures don't necessarily correlate to the planar distance (they
could have elevation taken into account, etc.) so using the m values is
a must. Is there a way to extract these measures, since using a length
calculation won't really help?

Thanks,
rgd
