I agree that nothing in the workspace seems at fault so the log will help.

The other thing I usually do in these cases is to add a visualiser
after each transformer to check the output at each stage of the
process. That way at least you'll know whether the data is lost on
input, at a particular transformer or on being written.

How quick does the translation run? If it's over in a few seconds then
it will hardly have managed to read 55,000 features.
