All,
I'm trying to convert a V8 Designfile with sound contours but it seems FME
doesn't return all information.
This is what i've figured out so far
- The contours are named cells where the igds_cell_name is "Associative
Region"
(I find this strange and expected unnamed cells)
- If I expand named cells, I see some but not all areas.
- The areas that I see are not grouped
(i.e separate features for exteriors, holes and islands)
- I can recreate the contours by grouping on igds_cell_sequence_number but
since I don't have all the areas this makes an incomplete picture.
- The official FME 2005 release returns more areas that a recent 2006 beta
(Right now I'm using FME 2006 (20050815 - Build 2093))
Is there anyone who has experience with Associative Regions or knows more
about the level of support FME has for these?
As far as I know the regions where created with 'native' Microstation V8
tools.
