Hello everyone.
I'm trying to import data from DWG files into GE Smallworld using
workbench. One of the features I'm trying to bring in is a DWG text
entity. I'm mapping it to a Smallworld rwo with text geometry. The
problem is that I can't figure out how to make workbench set the
orientation of the Smallworld text geometries. I can't find anything
in any of the documentation that explains this and I've tried a number
of things by trial and error (used AttributeCreator to create a value
for sworld_geometry{0}.sworld_orientation, exposed sworld_geometry
{0}.sworld_orientation on the destination feature and connected values
to it). The resulting text geometries in Smallworld always have an
orientation of 0.0. Also, if I try to use variable substitution for
the orientation value it causes the FME translator process to crash.
If someone could shed some light on this I would appreciate it.
