I just got FME and am very new after having only gone over the
tutorial. I'd like to also use the tiler and I can answer your
question but have a few of my own!
To set the row and column size of the tiled output, click in the upper
right properties button of the tiler transformer (usually "...") and
enter the column width and row height. That seems to do the job.
My question is, how do you output seperate files for each tile? You
obviously build the output filename from the _row and _column
properties but how do you actually output to a seperate file based on
those values? I can't find it... Can anyone provide simple ideas
about how this is done?
I hope someone knows!
