Hello Rice,

Is the error message 'GRID 0 -2' or 'GRID 1 -2' ?

-2 for a SDE GRID says that your SDE layer uses an
ORACLE Spatial Type. Do you try to load using a ORACLE
Spatial Type ?

In this case I suggest you to delete the spatial index
before loading and to recreate it after. I had a
similar problem by loading with a ORACLE Spatial Index
and now I recreate the index after every loading.
