Hello Rice, Is the error message 'GRID 0 -2' or 'GRID 1 -2' ?
-2 for a SDE GRID says that your SDE layer uses an ORACLE Spatial Type. Do you try to load using a ORACLE Spatial Type ? In this case I suggest you to delete the spatial index before loading and to recreate it after. I had a similar problem by loading with a ORACLE Spatial Index and now I recreate the index after every loading.
