I'll just join in with my 2 cents worth...

1) Another reason to cut down in attributes is the speed of editing in
Workbench. The more attributes you have the more work Workbench has to
do tracking attributes whenever you make an edit. It can slow down WB
considerably. See this question on fmepedia for more info...

2) Another method (besides the ones described) is...

a) CoordinateCounter - count the number of coords
b) Cloner (num of copies = CoordCount) - get a feature per coord
c) CoordinateFetcher (index = Copynum) - fetch a coordinate per each clone

Then you can write it straight to a text/csv file and have the correct
number of records. There's usually about a half-dozen ways of doing
the same thing using FME - in this case I think there wouldn't be a
lot of performance difference between the methods suggested.
