I'm sure it is possible - I just don't know how (and in the time taken
to learn could create an alternate method).

I think I may file a request for a GeometryTransformer transformer -
similar to the ExpressionEvaluator but the results are applied to the
geometry rather than as attributes. It would simplify the workspace so
much and provide a function for anything from simple offsets to your
more complicated version. And it could have built-in Affine/Helmert
functions. Can't guarantee it will happen though, or when (I can feel
our developers turning green any time I make a rash promise about
advanced functions)!
